A: Yes hypnosis is used as a form of treatment for alcoholism. It is effective for the removal of habit patterns and treatment is over a period of time. I do not wish to use drugs.
A: Preterm Labour is usually when women go into labour before 35 weeks. Hypnosis can help prevent premature births. A programme of hypnosis early in the pregnancy will definitely help keep the mother and baby in good health. A study of preterm mothers in Canada, who were given suggestions using hypnosis to keep their cervix firm and hard and continued to practise these suggestions many times during the day until the contractions stopped, found 70% of the hypnotized mothers managed to prolong their pregnancies. Top Q: What is Gestational Diabetes and can it be treated using hypnosis.
A: Gestational Diabetes starts when the mother's body is not able to make and use all the insulin it needs for pregnancy. The placenta supports the baby and hormones from the placenta help the baby develop but the hormones block the action of the mother's insulin and make it hard for the mother's body to use insulin. A: Yes. The risk factors associated with high blood pressure during pregnancy may lead to stroke, heart and kidney diseases later in life is the findings of Dr. Vesna Garnovic, assistant professor of internal medicine at the Mayo Clinic, NY. The findings also showed women who had high blood pressure also shared the same risk factors as those suffering from obesity in pregnancy, ie the risk of a stroke is twice as high and one and half times greater with women after 40.
